When I enrolled in printmaking at the University of Alberta, I didn't really know what I was getting into. At first I complained about all the steps- preparing the ground, transfering the image, etching the plate, soaking the paper, and all the mistakes that can happen in between. But those steps worked themselves into my life. I find that is how I operate- in small steps. These works are about looking inwards. into the heart.
