Jesus prays in the garden.
His sweat, like drops of blood
His veins and arteries, pulsating and throbbing under the intense pressure
The looming darkness
The heavy weight of sin

Jesus' arrest
Betrayed by a kiss, by a disciple whom he ate with. Surrendered hands. The hands that healed the leper and blind man. The hands that created the world.

Jesus Before the Sanhedrin
Shouting, angry fists
False accusations, like sharp daggers aimed at the innocent lamb
Proud, powerful leaders in rich robes cunningly trying to trap Christ
The blameless son of God, defenseless and deserted by his friends.
